Project Rescue & Takeover
The agency stopped replying, the freelancer left, or the first version never quite worked. I take over the codebase as it is, tell you plainly what state it is in, fix what blocks a release, and ship it.
The problem this solves
You paid for a web app that is half-finished, buggy or stuck, and nobody you can reach understands the code well enough to finish it.
Deliverables
- A written audit: what works, what is broken, what is risky
- Fixes for what blocks the release
- Missing pieces built to finish the agreed scope
- Deployment and access moved under your control
- Source code and deployment you own
How it works
I start with the audit. I read the code, run it, and write down what is broken, what is risky and what is fine, with a recommendation: keep, repair or rewrite each part. You decide the scope from that. On a Supabase app the audit includes checking that row level security does what the settings screen promises, the method I describe in how to test Supabase RLS. Then I stabilise the app, finish the agreed pieces and deploy it, with the accounts and hosting in your name.
When not to buy this
Not a fit if the codebase is so small that starting over is cheaper, which I will tell you after the audit, or if you need a team to take over a large system in a few weeks.
